Based on my experience studying in Japan and working for the United Nations, I have always asked myself how I could contribute to the development of post-war Vietnam. I have also considered what I could give back to Japan and the world. For me, the answer lies not only in pursuing economic growth, but also in creating a peaceful environment for people, sharing cultural richness, and focusing on helping children, who are the future, to live in a better society. That’s why I have dedicated over 20 years of my life to building our company and garden with great care. I am truly happy that they have become a place for people to connect, including not only general visitors but also students participating in extracurricular activities, international conferences, corporate gatherings, weddings, and more.

Education:
1966: Enrolled in the Department of Architecture at Saigon University (now Ho Chi Minh City University) in Vietnam.
Selected as a Japanese government scholarship student and came to Japan.
Apr 1968: Entered the Japanese Language Course at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.
Mar 1973: Graduated from Hitotsubashi University’s Department of Economic Management Science.
Mar 1975: Master’s degree from Hitotsubashi University.
Apr 1975: Entered the doctoral program at the University of Tsukuba.
Mar 1978: Doctoral program in social and economic planning at the University of Tsukuba.

Career:
1978-1993: Researcher at the United Nations Regional Development Center in Nagoya, mainly in charge of economic development planning in Asia.
1989-present: Established the first private business school in Vietnam, “Tri Dung Business School.”
1993-present: Established NICD Co., Ltd. in Nagoya, serving as representative director.
1994-present: Appointed representative director of MINH TRAN Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City.
1999-2003: Founding chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Overseas Vietnamese Business Association.
2003-present: Vice Chairman of the Japan-Vietnam Partnership Club (JAVIP CLUB).
2005-2016: Vice Chairman of the Science & Technology Overseas Vietnamese Club.
Mar 2006: Received the “Pride of Vietnam” award.
Jan 2007: Translated the autobiography of the late Soichiro Honda, the founder of Honda, into Vietnamese.
2007-present: Appointed as the “Hyogo Friendship Ambassador” by Hyogo Prefecture.
2009-2014: Chairman of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Science Council.
2014-present: Chairman of the Japan-Vietnam Cooperation Network (JAVINET).
Nov 2015: Received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette.
Dec 2015: Appointed as the “Kansai Tourism Ambassador.”
Sep 2018: Received the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan award.
